Its a strange thing, most of the other car manufacturers have started to evolve their model shapes – Just look at the iconic VW Golf, and the Ford Fiesta… The body styles have changed quite substantially over the past 5 years. 

I used to be sad enough to be able to tell the make and model of a car at night from the headlights, but now I wouldn’t want to even try that game again.  But with the Saab’s its a bit different, sure the 9-3 and 9-5 have become a little curvier but if you take the first generation Saab 9-3 you can still see a lot of the original styling in the current model.

Something you can’t really say for the Fiesta, or even the Golf for that matter – I think this simplistic, sticking to your roots design is what makes the Saab still popular.  Seriously, who wouldn’t want to own a Saab Turbo!!
